Originally from Lincoln, Angela was trained at the Royal Northern College of Music under Thomas Schulze. She is also proud to be a Britten Pears Scholar.
Angela is now enjoying the start of a blossoming career in opera. Recent roles include Edith (Pirates of Penzance - Sullivan) with Buxton G&S Opera Company and also Margaret (The Ghosts of Ruddigore - Sullivan) and Ida/Dr Blind (Die Fledermaus - J. Strauss), both with Opera Della Luna.
As an Oratorio soloist, Angela has performed Bach's St. Matthew Passion, Mozart's Requiem, Handel's Messiah and Howard Goodhall's Requiem and Eternal Light.
Angela regularly sings with The Lincoln Orpheus Male Voice choir, Allegro Apassionata, Intermezzo, and the Bishop Grosseteste University College choir. She has also been engaged with the Concordia Foundation, Hartley Voices, The Lincolnshire International chamber Music Festival, and Novara's international Music festival with 'Notte del Sacro.'
In February 2012, Angela will be singing the role of Queen Elizabeth I in Opera South's production of Merrie England by Edward German.
