Angus McAllister studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Opera credits include: Lysander in A Midsummer’s Nights Dream for the Aix en Provence Festival and tour; Israelitish Messenger and ensemble in Handel’s Samson for De Nederlanse Opera; Mengone in Lo Speziale by Haydn for Opera Minora in the Netherlands; Ferrando in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte for Oyster Opera; Beppe in Donizetti’s Rita with Hand Made Opera; Fenton in Falstaff (Verdi), Jack in Midsummer Marriage (Tippet), Podesta in La Finta Giardiniera (Mozart) and L’Ormindo (Cavalli) for Abbey Opera.
Angus has sung in the chorus at Scottish Opera for their productions of Carmen (Bizet), Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti), Madama Butterfly (Puccini), La Traviata (Verdi), I Puritani (Bellini) and Manon (Massenet). He has also sung as a soloist in concert with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera for their annual patron’s dinner.
Concert and Oratorio credits include: Forde Abbey Lieder Festival; Recitals in The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, France and Spain; Tenor Soloist for Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Samson and Dixit Dominus, Bach’s B minor Mass, Magnificat and St John Passion, Beethoven’s Mass in C and Missa Solemnis.
