Mezzo Soprano Camilla Cutts trains with the distinguished singing teacher Arwel Treharne Morgan and enjoys a blossoming career on the opera stage and oratorio platform.
Professional opera roles have included Troylus’ Mother & Cynthia in The Testament of Cresseid (P. Robinson) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; Little Buttercup in HMS Pinafore (Sullivan) with Charles Court Opera Company; Pulcherio in The Deluded Bridegroom (Mozart) and Sally in Hand of Bridge (Barber) with Exeter Music Festival.
As a chorus singer, Camilla has worked extensively with Scottish Opera and Nationale Reisopera, Netherlands. Productions with these companies include Ballo in Maschera (Verdi); Turandot (Puccini); Manon (Massenet); Lucia di Lammermoor (Donizetti); Madama Butterfly (Puccini); Dve Vdovy (Smetana); Falstaff (Verdi); Nabucco (Verdi); I Puritani (Bellini) and L’Elisir d’Amore (Donizetti).
On the concert platform Camilla has performed the alto solos in Mozart’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah and Dixit Dominus and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonelle. In October 2010 she will sing the alto solos in Mozart's Coronation Mass as part of the East Finchley Arts Festival.
Camilla recently sang chorus with Nationale Reisopera in their production of the new opera WAKE by composer Klaas de Vries.
