Rosanne was born in Harrow and graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2008. Rosanne was awarded a scholarship to train at The Royal College of Music on the MMus (Performance) course and commenced her studies in September 2010. She is currently training with Rosa Mannion (RCM).
During her time at the RWCMD, she performed a number of roles including Camille in Charpentier's Louise and Fleta in Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe. She also performed as a soloist and company member of Musical Madness' directed by Ken Caswell and was selected to sing in the RWCMD College Chorus and Chamber Choir.
Rosanne has performed as a soloist with Peter Karrie for PUKKA Productions and with Oddyssey Theatre, Cardiff. She has taken part in masterclasses with Malcolm Martineau, Linda Ormiston and Ryland Davies and sung live on ITV twice, singing in the ‘Barcarolle’ from Offenbach’s The Tales of Hoffman and ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ from Puccini’s Gianni Schicci.
Rosanne was a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain for four years. During her time in the choir she sang on a European tour, for the 2006 FA cup final at the Wales Millennium Stadium and at other prestigious concert venues including St David's Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and Bridgewater Hall. She has also performed at Cardiff Bay Arena, The Peacock Theatre, The Barbican and The Royal Albert Hall.
In 2008 Rosanne appeared in the world premiere of Brian Irvine's The Calling of Maisy Day with Welsh National Youth Opera and in Puccini’s La Rondine with British Youth Opera. In spring 2009 Rosie took part in the British Youth Opera Easter workshops, directed by Will Kerley, and sang chorus in British Youth Opera's 2009 production of Stravinky's The Rake's Progress with the same director. Rosanne sang the role of Despina with European Chamber Opera in their summer and autumn 09 tours of Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte.
In 2010 Rosanne sang a number of roles including 2nd Woman and 1st Witch (cover) in a production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Bury Court; Nora in Vaughan William's Riders to the Sea with The Minotaur Music Theatre at The Rosemary Branch under the direction of Stuart Barker; Despina in Cosi fan tutte again with European Chamber Opera for their performances in Bahrain.
Forthcoming engagements include singing the roles of Despina in Cosi fan tutte directed by Mike Ashman at the Royal College of Music (Feb 2011) and Queen of the Night (cover) in The Magic Flute with London Youth Opera (Mar 2011). In March 2011, Rosanne will appear as guest soloist in concert with Romsey Male Voice Choir.
