
Timothy studied at the University of Kent: Christ Church College with Benjamin Luxon and at Trinity College of Music with Teresa Cahill and Janice Chapman. He now studies with John Evans. Timothy is a graduate of the prestigious ‘Knack’ programme at English National Opera where he worked with Mary King and the director Rufus Norris.
He has performed with Scottish Opera, Aldeburgh and Bregenz Festivals, Raymond Gubbay, BBC Wales Chorus and the Grammy nominated vocal ensemble Accentus.
Timothy’s opera roles include: Aeneas (Dido and Aeneas), American Guest (Death in Venice) – Aldeburgh and Bregenz Festivals, The Tramp (Playing Away) – Bregenz Festival, Vogelsang (The Impresario), Salvatore (The Saint of Bleecker Street) - Peacock Theatre, London, Birdwatcher (A Very Private Beach) – ENO Works, Guard (Manon) – Scottish Opera, Luiz (The Gondoliers) and Tony (The Boyfriend).
Recent solo concert performances include: Alexander’s Feast (Handel), Stainer’s Crucifixion, Maria Theresa Mass (Haydn), and Faure’s Requiem.
Timothy has made numerous recordings including the best selling Faure Requiem with the Grammy nominated group ‘Accentus’ (Naïve Label). He also appeared in the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace (Tosca– Bregenz Festival).
Timothy has also worked as a Musical Director and has played on and directed several shows including: Snow White (Spillers Pantomimes) – Pavillion Theatre, Weymouth and The Opera House, Wakefield; Beauty and The Beast (Spillers Pantomimes) – The Playhouse, Shrewsbury; Cabaret, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, West Side Story, Sweet Charity – Hazlitt Theatre, Maidstone.
Future engagements include: Marcello (La Boheme) - Park Opera, and Carmen (Raymond Gubbay) – O2 Arena.
